The Task:
I have some content on my website that includes products from affiliates. I have a product summary page that shows a list of products based on search results and then links to a product detail page. It's a couple of PHP pages accessing a MYSql database.
What I'm looking for is an Htaccess file developed for make my ugly URLs more SEO friendly. Here are some examples of the current URLs and my thought about the desired URLs:
ACTUAL: http://carolinarunner.com/shopping/product-summary.php?searchterm=running+shoe
DESIRED DISPLAY: http://carolinarunner.com/shopping/product-summary/running-shoe/
ACTUAL: http://carolinarunner.com/shopping/product-summary.php?searchterm=running+shoe&continue_i=50
DESIRED DISPLAY: http://carolinarunner.com/shopping/product-summary/running-shoe/
